Gat's 650cc 1948 Triumph Bobber

Engine: Tiger 110 bottom end with unit construction Bonneville head and barrels. Two E3134 cam shafts and high capacity Morgo plunger oil pump. Two concentric carburettors fitted.

Gearbox: Pre-Unit 4 speed in original case with 20 tooth gearbox sprocket. Primary belt system fitted.

Frame: Original 1948 Triumph Speed Twin hard tail frame.

Front Suspension: Triumph hydraulic forks fitted (rebuilt).

Electronics: Standard Lucas Magneto (rebuilt) fitted. Alton 12 volt 3 inch alternator fitted in place of the original 6 volt generator. Home made rectifier and zennor diode control system. Polished Sparto tail light.

Rear Wheel: Triumph Mark II sprung hub laced to a 16 inch Harley Rim. Tyre size 130 x 16.

Front Wheel: Standard Triumph 19 x 3.25.

Paint Work: Tank and fenders painted / airbrushed by Stu Campbell from Pauatahanui, Wgtn (Retro Rocker Member). Air brushing on both sides of the sporty tank shows the club insignia of the Wellington 25 club, one of the original 1% biker clubs in New Zealand in which Gat's was a long standing member.

Club: Retro Rocker Nostalgic Chopper Group.
